Dancers Against Drugs
Dancers Against Drugs is a program created and directed by Janice D. Holst starting in the 1980s. This program educates the dancers participating as ambassadors as well as the community. Ambassadors of the program learn dances and songs to perform for the community during the local Red Ribbon Rally and at local elementary schools.
This year the program was directed by Isabella Bugayong. Isabella is a current co-captain of the JDHS Dance Team and Fusion Dance Company Assistant Dance Teacher. Isabella earned the title of Miss Thunderbird at the Thunderbird Dance Camp this past summer while she was there learning with her team.
The Dancers Against Drugs and Fusion Dance Company would like to thank all the parents and family members who helped out during the performances and practices. They would also like to thank Bullwinkle’s Pizza Parlor for providing lunch to the dancers during their big day of performing at the elementary schools.
